The Push stick and the Throat plate are a needed upgrade to my table saw. As the table saw was a cheaper alternative at the time I brought it. The original throat plate is very flimsy and the gap around the blade means small pieces can fall down it, also cutting smaller pieces felt uncomfortable as the plastic would flex in the middle. The pallet wood I used is a piece of spalted cherry, so it looks great too.
